Tragic! My scanner has failed me!  I'm having a bad driver/software melt-down...so it might be a couple days before i can post....uninstall reinstall repeat repeat shutdown restart clean the registry defrag....crapola!!!

Catching up with older drawings.

i've lagged off schedule with my posts, so to catch up, i'm going to go ahead and post some older drawings...it kind of defeats the purpose of getting me to draw more, but i've been sick...and lazy...and some of this, that, and the other...my goal was to have a post for every day of the year...knowing there'd be days where i wouldn't post, i was settling for 365 posts for the year (i'm still on pace for that) but i noticed that i had over 50 posts for January (kind of over zealous of me, huh?) and i only had less than 10 for Feb. i want to have at least close to the days of the month worth of posts, ie: at least 25 for Feb. (28 days) and somewhere near there for all other months...some days i just don't have the time, or i didn't draw anything i feel is worthwhile...work has been rough and getting rougher, frankly i don't feel like bothering after the soul-sucking day at the sweat-shop...

so here's some older drawings i found in an old sketchbook...

rough weekend

well, i went home early from work @ about 8pm on fri. and somewhere around 10:30 pm commenced the puking sessions...my wife started hers a few hours later...she had to be hospitalized for dehydration on Sat.

thought we were all done with sickness until around 9pm sat. night when my son started...to say the least it's been a rough weekend...

Echidna

drawn during my outing to children's museum with my son via MAX...why echidnas??? haven't the slightest...they actually look more like hedgehogs, but my son and i decided they were echidnas.

i was watching x-files and sketching...just a face that came at me...doesn't look all that much like any of the folks on the episode i was watching...maybe an amalgam of all the faces, i don't know

i've never felt competent drawing trees/forest...this is a concept that i've played with for a while...i wanted it to be MC Escher-esque but haven't quite gotten there...here's one attempt:

Wedge Antilles

so i made some attempts at Wedge Antilles...they actually don't look that bad, but they don't look at all like Wedge...ugggh!  I just can't seem to capture the likeness...one almost looks like him...maybe a younger Wedge...the other almost looks asian...just not getting it on this one...one day i'll kill it...
